    Weekend in Zagreb

    Jun 6th, 2014 | Honeymoon

Exploring the pearl of central Croatia will offer you an ideal mixture of luxury, culture, past and present. Walk through a 1000 years old stone street of Gronji Grad (Upper Town) will take you to a time when Counts and Countess walked those streets, under the oil lamps. If you continue to Tkalčićeva street, one of many coffeehouses will offer you a perfect break before you walk to a vivid market Dolac, the biggest and the oldest green marketplace opened for more than a 1000 years. Donji Grad (Down Town), a younger sister of Gornji Grad is almost a show room of 18th century baroque buildings such as Croatian National Theater and main train station where an influence of Habsburg monarchy is visible on every step.
